Westward from Beitostolen it is Mugnetinden with its 1740 meters above sea level who is throning the highest. Many people have this peak as their destination, even in winter. Slightly longer coming, but you soar quickly back down. It is suitable both for Randone-skis and mountain skis. From the top it has great views of the 2,000 meter peaks between Bygin and Gjende.
From the parking in Raudalen it is 8.8 km to the top peak on Mugnetind. Most people follow the same path up and down.
